Invitations

Bring family members who aren't on A2Me yet into your family network — by email or a personal invite link.

What are Invitations?

Invitations let you bring family members who aren't on A2Me yet into your family network. They're how your family grows on A2Me — each new relative you invite expands your family tree.

You can send an invitation by email, or share a personal invite link by text or on social media. When a family member joins A2Me through your invitation, they connect to your family network automatically.

Invitations are specifically for people who aren't on A2Me yet. If you want to connect with a relative who already has an A2Me account, use Family Requests instead.

Why It Matters

A family network is only as complete as the relatives in it. The people you most want to share memories and stories with often aren't on the platform yet — and reaching them shouldn't take more than a moment.

Invitations make growing your family network simple. Whether you reach a relative by email or share a personal invite link by text or social media, anyone who joins through your invitation connects straight into your family network and family tree.

Example Usage

Scenario: Maria has just set up her A2Me account and wants to bring her family on board. None of them are on A2Me yet.

She opens Invite and enters her brother David's email address. A moment later, she copies her personal invite link and drops it into the family group text so her cousins can join too.

David signs up using the invitation, and a cousin joins through the link. Both connect straight into Maria's family network and appear in the family tree — and just like that, her family network on A2Me has started to grow.
