Connect a2me — AI Integration
Use a2me from AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT — ask about your family and get live, read-only answers.
What is Connect a2me?
Connect a2me lets you use a2me from AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT — and other MCP-compatible assistants. Once connected, you can ask the assistant about your family — for example, who's in your family network — and it pulls live information directly from your a2me family.
It's read-only. The assistant can look up your family information, but it cannot post, change, or delete anything on your behalf. You connect securely with OAuth: you authorize a2me access from inside the assistant, and a2me never sees your assistant account password.
You stay in control. You can see and manage connected apps under Settings → Connected apps, and you're notified by email and in-app whenever a new app connects to your account. You can disconnect anytime.
Why It Matters
More and more, people start their day inside an AI assistant. Connect a2me brings your family information to where you already are — so you can ask about your family in plain language, without switching apps or digging through screens.
Because the connection is read-only and secured with OAuth, you get the convenience of asking your assistant about your family while keeping full control of your account. Nothing changes on your behalf, you're notified whenever an app connects, and you can disconnect anytime.

Example Usage
Scenario: Maria already uses Claude every day for work and wants to reference her family without opening another app.
She adds the a2me connector in Claude. Claude sends her to a2me, where she signs in and grants read-only access to her family information. Back in Claude, the connection is ready.
Now Maria asks, "Who's in my family on a2me?" Claude pulls live, read-only information from her a2me family and lists her family network members. She can keep asking about her family right from the assistant.
Because it's read-only, Claude can look things up but never posts or changes anything. a2me emails Maria and notifies her in-app that a new app connected, and she can review or disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connected apps.
