KAI Assistant

KAI is A2Me's built-in AI assistant, designed specifically to help families get the most out of the app. KAI stands for Kinnectd AI, and it's integrated throughout the A2Me experience to provide helpful suggestions, answer questions, and inspire meaningful sharing.

Unlike generic AI assistants, KAI understands the context of A2Me — family connections, privacy settings, events, and storytelling. It's trained to be warm, supportive, and family-friendly. KAI can help you write better posts, suggest story prompts, answer questions about app features, and more.

KAI is available directly in your messaging section, so chatting with it feels natural — just like messaging a family member. You can also see KAI's suggestions appear contextually throughout the app, like when you're creating a post or planning an event.

When you're creating a post, KAI can help you make it even better. After writing your text, you may see KAI suggestions for improving your caption, fixing grammar, or adding more descriptive language. These suggestions are optional — you can accept, modify, or dismiss them.

KAI can also suggest relevant story prompts based on the content of your post. For example, if you share a photo from a family reunion, KAI might suggest a prompt like "What's your favorite reunion memory?" to encourage engagement from your family.

The goal of KAI's post suggestions is never to change your voice — it's to help you express yourself more clearly and encourage meaningful interactions. You're always in control, and KAI's suggestions are designed to enhance, not replace, your authentic sharing.

You can chat with KAI anytime by opening a conversation with KAI from your messages. Just type your question or request, and KAI will respond with helpful information, suggestions, or creative ideas.

Try asking KAI things like: "How do I change my post's visibility?", "Give me a story prompt about childhood memories", "Help me write a caption for this family photo", or "What events are coming up?" KAI is knowledgeable about all of A2Me's features and can guide you through anything.

KAI conversations are saved in your message history, so you can always refer back to previous answers and suggestions. If KAI doesn't have the answer you need, it will point you to the right resource — like this Help Center or our Support team.

KAI is designed to be helpful without being intrusive. You can manage your KAI preferences from Settings → KAI. Here you can control which types of suggestions KAI offers, how often you see them, and whether KAI proactively reaches out with ideas.

You can enable or disable KAI suggestions for post creation, story prompts, event planning, and general tips. If you find KAI's suggestions helpful in some areas but not others, you can fine-tune each category individually.

If you prefer not to use KAI at all, you can disable it entirely from the settings page. KAI will stop providing suggestions and won't appear in your messages. You can re-enable KAI at any time if you change your mind.

Your privacy is paramount when interacting with KAI. All conversations with KAI are private — they're not visible to other family members or anyone else. KAI processes your requests securely and doesn't store your conversations for use by other users.

KAI uses your interaction history to provide better, more personalized suggestions over time. For example, if you frequently share cooking-related posts, KAI might suggest food-themed story prompts. This personalization is local to your account and is never shared or sold.

A2Me does not use your KAI interactions to train AI models for third parties. Your family's data stays within A2Me's ecosystem. If you delete your account, all KAI interaction data is permanently removed along with the rest of your personal information. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
