Getting Started

Getting started with A2Me is simple and takes just a few minutes. Download the A2Me app from the App Store or Google Play, then tap Create Account. You'll be asked for your name, email address, and a secure password. We recommend using a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.

After entering your details, you'll receive a verification email. Tap the link in the email to confirm your account. Once verified, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding flow to set up your profile and make your first family connection.

A2Me is built around your real identity — we ask for your first and last name so family members can recognize you. You won't need a username or handle. Everything is designed to feel personal and authentic, just like your family.

Your profile is how your family sees you on A2Me. After creating your account, tap your avatar in the bottom navigation to visit your profile. From there, you can add a profile photo, a short bio, and basic information like your location and birthday.

Your profile photo helps family members recognize you, especially if you're connecting with relatives you haven't seen in a while. We recommend using a clear, recent photo of yourself. You can update your photo at any time from your profile settings.

Your bio is a short description that appears on your profile. Share a little about yourself — maybe your role in the family, your interests, or a favorite memory. This helps new connections feel more personal and meaningful.

Your A2Me feed is your window into what your family is sharing. Unlike traditional social media, your feed only shows content from people you're connected with — real family members and close loved ones. There are no ads, no algorithm-driven content from strangers, and no viral distractions.

Posts appear in your feed in chronological order, so you always see the most recent updates first. You'll see photos, stories, text posts, and event invitations from your family. Each post shows who shared it and when, so you can easily keep up with everyone.

If you're connected to a large family, you can filter your feed by relationship type or specific family members. This makes it easy to catch up with a particular branch of your family or focus on the people you interact with most.

A2Me is designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate. The bottom navigation bar gives you quick access to the main sections of the app: Home (your feed), Search (find family members), Create (new post or story), Events (upcoming family events), and Profile (your account).

The top of the screen shows notifications and messages. Tap the bell icon to see likes, comments, and connection requests. Tap the message icon to open your conversations. You'll also find KAI, your AI assistant, accessible from the messaging section.

Settings and account management are available from your profile page. Tap the gear icon to access privacy controls, notification preferences, account security, and more. Everything is organized to be just a tap or two away from wherever you are in the app.
