Events

A2Me makes it easy to plan family events right within the app. Go to the Events tab and tap Create Event. Enter the event details: title, date and time, location, and a description. You can also add a cover photo to make the invitation feel special.

Choose who to invite by selecting from your family connections. You can invite your entire family network, specific relationship groups, or individual family members. Each invitee will receive a notification and can RSVP directly in the app.

Events are private by default, visible only to the family members you invite. If you want to extend the invitation beyond your family network — for example, to a friend or partner who isn't on A2Me — you can generate a shareable public link that includes all the event details.

Once you've created an event, you can track RSVPs from the event detail page. Each invited family member can respond with Going, Maybe, or Can't Go. You'll see a real-time count of responses and can tap into each category to see who responded.

As the event organizer, you can send reminders to family members who haven't responded yet. A2Me will send them a gentle notification encouraging them to RSVP. You can also update the event details at any time, and everyone who's been invited will be notified of the changes.

The RSVP system helps you plan logistics — like how much food to prepare or how many seats you need. It's a simple but powerful tool that takes the guesswork out of family event planning.

Sharing events on A2Me is flexible. When you create an event, invited family members receive a notification and can view the event in their Events tab. The event card shows all the key details — date, time, location, and description — at a glance.

For family members or friends who aren't on A2Me, you can generate a public shareable link. This link opens a beautifully rendered event page that works in any browser — no app download required. Recipients can view all the event details and even RSVP through the web page.

You can share the link through any channel: text message, email, WhatsApp, or any messaging app. The public event page is server-rendered for fast loading and includes Open Graph metadata, so it previews beautifully when shared in messages and on social platforms.

Every event on A2Me has a built-in photo album where attendees can share their photos and videos from the gathering. After the event, tap the Photos tab on the event page to browse and contribute to the shared album.

Anyone who attended (or was invited) can add their photos to the album. This means you get a complete collection of memories from every angle and perspective — not just the photos on your phone. Family members who couldn't attend can also enjoy seeing what they missed.

Event photo albums are a wonderful way to preserve memories. Photos shared to an event album stay there permanently (unless deleted by the person who uploaded them), so you can always look back at family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations.
